Worker safety is becoming the top priority and primary concern for mining companies and a new Web- based risk management and site safety software solution is set to curb the rate at which deaths occur at underground mining sites, and Africa-based mining companies have now latched onto the technology, says African Human Logistics marketing manager Sheldon Barnett.
