MPX – Mine Production Management

MPX is a modern Mine Production Software solution for open pit and underground mining operations that require a central reliable solution for managing materials as they progress from the mine, through production stockpiles, the mill, through shipping to the market.
MPX captures shift level data from and tracks the material by tonnes and grade through mining, stockpiles, crusher and processing.
The system captures details of:
• Material movements
• Drilling (development, support and stoping)
• Consumables
• Ground engaging tools
• Dayworks
• Weightometers
• Downtime and machine hours
MPX uses the schedule of rates to determine the standard cost of production.
Features & Benefits
- Report tonnes, quality of materials through production from mine to stockpiles & through the mill
- Shift performance analysis, production data, plant utilisation and engine hours
- Reconcile production plans and forecasts with materials in stock
- Drilling production and analysis
- Plant availability
MPX includes extensions for managing:
MPX Metallurgical Balance System is designed to help process plant managers develop and maintain optimal plant efficiency – maximising pro duct while minimising costs. MPX MetBalance tracks product, waste, raw material inputs, equipment availability and performance, operating conditions and efficiency of the material transformation process. MPX is a configurable solution that permits the addition of sampling points, measurables, variable definition and process changes without the need for programmer intervention.
MPX Metallurgical Balance System validates and loads data from Excel Spreadsheets and CSV files to a central database. It also allows manual data entry and checking and editing via table based views. The system calculates derived values using a simple deterministic model, providing clear information for the process engineer on plant performance. Data extraction and reporting is provided by a flexible and easy-to-use query tool that outputs data to Excel for graphing and analysis. Measure points and data trends are viewed graphically from the MPX dashboard.
Managing product from Mill to Port can be as vital as any of the materials management processes especially when dealing with multiple products, quality, size, purity, contaminants – all leading to stockpile and blending complexities.
Trucking data is entered directly into the database on a truckload by truckload basis. Tonnages can be entered by truck factor, by measured load weight or by axle weight. Load samples can be entered by analyte. The material type specifies what was moved and the source and destination stockpiles track where it was moved from and to. If moisture % is unknown it is set to a default value supplied from the installation table. Dry tonnes are calculated from wet tonnes.
